I’ve been involved with 100 Yen: The Japanese Arcade Experience for a while now, and it’s a delight to see how the project is coming along.
It’s come so far since the initial pitch trailer I appeared in, and I was happy when they signed me on the appear in the full-length flick.
It really reminds me of my book Arcade Mania! — a good thing.

I just came back from a trip to Japan, where my brother and I wanted to have a go at street fighter in an arcade. The thick, cloying layers of cigarette smoke in the unventilated, windowless dungeons was too much to bear though. Instead we stuck to playing the taiko drumming games on the ground floors. That and the table flipping game (which was awesome).
