It was such a traumatising experience for him that he stopped trusting me for roughly a half hour.

Just talked to my sister and school holidays only start for Queensland and private schools. So we get to avoid the majority of kids, yay!
Seeing as though it's the old xbox cards on sale, not the new ones :( I've decided to go to the other store that has that one DS and snag it before anyone else does. Luckily it's not pink.
My trick, go straight to the counter when the store opens and ask if they have any DSis in stock, because it's locked away in a glass box, and you'd need a staff member to get to it anyway ;)
I actually went over the list again and wrote down not only the item I am after but also the product code. Just in case that helps the staff sort me out quicker.
The only thing I want is Other M. And even if I don't get that, I wouldn't really care. xD Looking at stock online, my local DSE doesn't have any PS3 headsets or anything (which is what I wanted), so I'm not fussed getting there super early anymore.

Oh and don't suggest the Harp playing mini-game on pumpkin landing, I am terrible at it.
You don't ever really need money in Skyward Sword. I always had enough to buy what I want and always ended up with too much in the end. I think you're still a bit too early in the game but Fun Island and Boss Rush are good sources :). But selling your materials and bugs is also good!

While it is not Zelda, one of the best rpgs I played back on the snes, and still in my top 20, was the fan translation of Seiken Densetsu 3 (secret of mana 3). Well worth a play for those that have not. Game was amazing.
I think I only tried to play the first one on Emulator and was lost. ^^;;
The first Secret of Mana was a great game. Spent many hours on that. Could not get into Secret of Evermore but it was a well received game.
Maybe it was Secret of evermore... But it might be the emulator. I only got half way through Chrono Trigger on the emulator but once I got it on DS I got through it, playing it non stop until I got the best ending (only without magus.)
Ah nice work. Chrono Trigger is an amazing game. Still waiting on a re release of Final Fantasy 3/6. Another gem of snes gaming.
First half was awesome! But it honestly just fell apart for the second half :P. I still liked it but it could've been so much better!

Still got the guinea pig? We lived in the country and had 4 guinea pigs living with the chooks in the chook run. A year later there was around 20+. Was always great fun going to feed the chickens and have guinea pigs running all over your feet. So cute.

Nice. Bookmarked to see the progress. And props for making it all yourself. Mum is a pretty epic sewer and I know the effort and time it takes.
I try to do everything I can myself. Usually the only things I buy are shoes, wigs and make up. I even try to make the accessories as well.

Why would it be boring lol. Arts and crafts are great fun. Mum does quilting. Not the sort on beds but more the sort that hang up on walls. She was the best in Australia for quite awhile and even did the family crest for Russel Crowes weddings. So if you are actually able to sew clothes then that is something to be damn proud of. And I imagine the current project is a bit of a challenge.
Cannot wait to see the finished product.

She actually won 2 $5,000 machines from the big Aussie quilt shows. One is like a giant DS with full colour touchscreen etc. Plus she has very good overlocker type thingo.
Certainly a good skill to have. Especially once you have kids. Easy to mend all their clothes etc. And hell you can even make them stuffed Teddys etc. Actually you should try making little stuffed Anime dolls. That would be awesome :)

I've made 1 rupee cushion, 1 Katamari cushion, 1 Madoka costume and the details on my Taokaka costume.
Practice makes perfect. And just imagine if you could get good enough that you can make cosplay costumes to order. Make a business out of it.
They are expensive. But I probably won't. I'd rather sell handmade video game merchandise.
I like to take photos of people who make their costumes. I might even make it a special feature on my blog this year to take photos of cosplays people have made. Lots and lots of them are bought and it makes you feel so bad about the inferiority of your own costume. =(
Well I would put more stock in a handmade costume than some bought one. Any cosplayer willing to put the effort in to create their own deserves a lot more praise and respect than the rest. Hat off to you.
That seems pretty cool. I had never considered stuff like fabric type for cosplay. I'm not into it myself but keep us updated, it will be interesting to see how the fabric in the pictures is transformed into a costume.

According to the website (and my recon yesterday) my local has pretty much nothing, so it looks like I'll take my chances with the crowds at the Bourke St store in the city - website shows they still have the white DSi, the 4GB xbox bundle, and monster hunter.
Apparently my local store is closing down so it doesn't appear in the store locator. Hopefully people see this and go to another store leaving what little they have left for me :P
I should not be awake...but I am.
I swear if I come home with nothing today I'm just gonna go right back to bed and not leave it until Wednesday. :p
