Gametech Returns To Sydney In June

Gametech, the games and technology industry event that brings together publishers, developers, government, and distributors is returning to Luna Park in Sydney this year.

The two-day conference will encompass keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. It’s a chance for those working in the industry — from indie developers to CEOs to the Federal Minister for Home Affairs — to talk to and learn from each other. Some of the key ideas that will be explored include the impact of broadband and mobile technologies on gaming, changing business and distribution models, and gamification.

Some of the speakers include the Minister for Home Affairs Jason Clare, the executive vice president of Activision Philip Earl, the managing director of Ubisoft Australia Edward Fong, and the founder of Defiant Development Morgan Jaffit. The full list of speakers can be viewed here.

Registration for Gametech is now open. The event will be held on June 19-20 at Sydney’s Luna Park. Kotaku will be there to bring you all the news from the conference.
