Ryan Wiemeyer gets asked the same question all the time, so basically before you can ask it, he’s answering it: Yes, you can die from dysentery in Organ Trail, his indie team’s zombie version of the classic old-school educational game Oregon Trail.
Organ Trail is designed to look like it was made for the Apple II and was made with the blessing of the Oregon Trail folks at The Learning Company. You can play it in Flash now but the version you can see in the video we shot at PAX East in Boston features the game’s Director’s Cut. That version is coming to iOS, PC and Mac.
