Stunning Minecraft Rendition Of Final Fantasy VI

It’s hard not to get all wistful and teary-eyed when you watch these videos of Final Fantasy VI‘s various landmarks, faithfully recreated in Minecraft by builder Felix Trapper and set to glorious Nobuo Uematsu-composed music.

The Narshe and Opera videos are particularly impressive (and tear-jerking) if you’ve played Final Fantasy VI. And if you haven’t, well, what the hell are you waiting for?

Check out all the vids below.

Narshe

This frost-filled city is the first thing you see when you open up Final Fantasy VI, and it’s also one of the prettiest parts of the game. And that music. Oh man.

Figaro Castle

The castle where loveable brothers Edgar and Sabin were born and raised. Also it can transform into an underground sand ship because it’s just baller like that.

Fanatic’s Tower

Also known as the most annoying dungeon in Final Fantasy VI.

South Figaro

An overhead look at South Figaro, the quaint little city in which you can eventually steal peoples’ clothes and use them to sneak past guards.

The Opera Scene

The best scene in Final Fantasy history, presented in all its harmonic glory.
