See That Retro Community Video Game In Action


The other day, we saw some images of a made-up video game based on the characters from NBC’s Community — now, we get to see the “game” in action, complete with vocal performances from the cast. (Though I wonder if at this point they just have a canned recording of Abed saying, “Cool. Cool cool cool.”)

The YouTube page describes this as “8-Bit Community“, but I gotta say, this looks a lot more 16-bit to me. I’ve never seen those types of backgrounds in an original NES game.

Behold, the glory of Jeff Winger’s Mega Man-Jump! Cower before Britta’s total lack of a nose and her evident non-racism! Run in fear when the evil blood-sucking hippie attacks!

Too bad Winger isn’t better at video games…
