Someone's Kid Should Draw Mario And Send It To These People

I'm not really sure if there's a video game angle to this, but it's just so cool that I had to share it with everyone. Child's Own Studio is a company that takes the often terrifyingly cute drawings of children and transforms them into toys, with insane results.

When I was a kid, all I drew were video game characters, I kind of wish my parents had sent off my drawings and gotten back a completely messed up, nightmare vision of Sonic the Hedgehog made flesh.

Someone — please send in this:

Anyway, some of these are brilliant...

If children’s drawings were made into toys… [TodayILearned]

Dear god. I want all of these. This is amazing!

      WHAT HE SAID!
      SOooooooooo awesome!

I have to say, this is the best thing I have seen today.

I love toys that can scar the mind.

Not quite as scar worthy, but the paraphernalia related to "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy" is certainly rather creepy. Here for some examples, so it may interest you.

Quick someone send in Yu Kobayashi drawings...

The black Cyclops and the one above are just pure awesome in their own right. All of them are pretty amazing though.

I think it would be interesting to give these toys to the children that drew them and see if they identify with them. The connection between their drawing skills and what they picture in their mind may be quite different.

Aw that's awesome. Imagine being a kid and drawing something, then getting a toy version of your own work.

I want that horned black cyclops dude!

    CUM ON STEP IT UP!!!

Seriously though, Sanic incarnate is a scary, scary thought.

The mouse/cat thing at the end is my favourite, it's actually kinda cute!

Here's a similar and equally terrifying project:
