Unfortunately lambogirl, the sudden break is the result of me going through a tunnel like powalen suggested. The Sydney to wollongong train line is full of them.I wish I was a master of suspense, I just pushed submit by mistake. Anyway all I wanted to say was I hope everybody reached home safely and that pez was a great host. I might write a post on the weekend's events 2moro but all I want to do now is to get home and collapse on my bed.

I spent most of the day following the meat on twitter. It was very distracting looking at all the photos people were posting! xD Can't wait to read some write ups.
New receiver at JB for under $200, installed and working in 90 minutes.
Pretty good for someone who has never done this before. \o/

What did you get? I've got a pretty decent one on paper but I find it gets extremely hot and I'm worried it'll burn itself out sooner rather than later :(

Meat related, I just finished my write-up, which comes out at roughly 2300 words. It leaves out a lot of details, but part of that is simply because I can't remember some things properly anymore. :p

Anyone into photoshop/inkscape/vector art? I tried out inkscape and vector art for the first time last night, it’s awesome! It took me about an hour or two to understand what the hell I was doing but after I got the hang of it, it’s pretty easy! I wanna use it to start up a website with my own t-shirt designs.
Even with all the fiddling around with tutorials and messing up my first few layers it still only took me about 2-3 hours to do, normally it takes me about 5+ hours to draw something in photoshop from scratch. I think I’ll be able to get it down to 1-2 hours once I get better at it. :’D

I really like working with vector art but… at the same time it feels like it’s not my own drawing, it just looks like a glorified traced drawing, ya know? I think I’ll be happy when I’m vector-ing my own drawings.
I feel like I've seen this before...
So I've been sleeping soundly, for 7-9 hours per night for the past fortnight. Why in the hell am I still exhausted all the time?

Scored 2 massive bargains on the weekend.
1. FINALLY picked up the Company of Heroes anthology- EB had it on special for $15. Can't wait to sink my teeth into it after exams next week.
2. Both my local Dick Smiths got shut down, so i thought i would check them both out. The first one didn't have anything, but the second had a copy of Uncharted on PSVita, but no sale signs. So i grabbed it and asked if it was on sale. It scanned in at $17.99... i almost peed myself i was so excited. Needless to say i bought it.
