Happy morning everyone, everyone feeling fresh? It’s bloody freezing out there. Everyone was complaining that we post too many cats on While You Were Sleeping, so here — have a sleeping dog. Also — video games stuff!
This is a pretty depressing statistic — Star War: The Old Republic has lost 400,000 subscribers. That’s a pretty massive number. I haven’t had the chance to play the game, I’m not a massive MMO fan, so I can’t really speculate as to the reasons for this drop. Anyone have an idea why this has happened? It seemed like a good product…
Also of interest — this piece about the trouble with Call of Duty’s war of the future. It’s not what you might expect, but it absolutely demands to be read.
Oh, new Assassin’s Creed 3 stuff. Very excited about this game. This is what happens when Minecraft griefers invade real life and Kotaku’s Kirk Hamilton asks a question: is Joss Whedon the King of the Geeks. [Spoiler: yes].
