Last one before I go to sleep...
A Machine for Pigs trailer was shown. Bricks were shat! Amnesia's glorious return!
P.S.: Did anyone check this game?

Are we getting a survival horror revival?
I think it might be
i am in no way supporting piracy in saying this, but for diablo 3 owners who are sick to death of lag, the server emulator mooege has been released so u can play offline for no lag, just thought i'd let u know
That'd work if you have a legit copy I assume anyway, yeah? I'll just assume it doesn't connect you to Battle.net and whatnot.
IT'S SO QUIET!
Shh, you'll wake the baby.
What?
You were yelling, and if you tell, you may well wake the baby. Clearly.
yell*
Dammit.
Sorry!
That's Scree's job, bad Greenius *whacks with a rolled up newspaper*
I knew nothing about said baby!
Think back to Paris, the sunlight filtering through the trees on the boulevard, dappling across the ground- across your face.
How we laughed, the fun we had. We grew up, and so did something else.
I have a- We. Have a child now. And I thought you should know now. He needs you in his life, and, I think you need him in yours.
...
I think I shouldn't stay up past 2 am, it does weird things to my mind.
That it does. o_O
Less than three hours until Le Mans.
I have everything set up for it:
Streaming on my TV and live timing on my laptop.
All I need is drinks and food and I'll be set...
And then I have to get up early to get a new hard drive for my tower...
Ooh is it that time of the year already, enjoy dude!
I've really lost interest in motorsport over the last few years, I really only watch Bathurst in the V8's now, Melbourne in the F1's & Phillip Island in the Moto GP.
I use to love all aspects of motorsport now i'm all "eh" I think it's all because how Channel 7 really bastardised the V8's for me on commercial TV, having everything the commentators say a product placement & how they get excited over something that isn't remotely exciting =/
Yeah, once Seven got the rights, V8 coverage went down the toilet.
Get Leigh Diffey back and give Ten the rights!
Yeah and at least the Ten commentators know what they're talking about.. Well Skaifey does, but god, matt white sure doesn't >.<
I hit up my local GAME for some 60% off action.
Picked up Dead Space 2, Just Cause 2, Nier and Alpha Protocol for $46. Would have been less if they'd let me redeem my loyalty points (wouldn't even do the 10% value thing), but I'm certainly not going to complain about those prices.
There's a lot to like about Alpha Protocol as long as you're in a forgiving mood. Dead Space 2 is a damn fine actiony romp too. Nicely done, man.
That's a good haul. I haven't played 3/4's of those games, but Just cause 2 is fantastic fun.
It's a really good sandbox game. The missions later on are not very varied and it'll become repetitive but you won't care because you'll be causing all the CHAOS.
Good find!
I have a feeling you'll be a Nier fan. It's one of those underrated, flawed but awesome games. I know I thought it looked like complete ass from the launch trailer and from one random video review I watched from (insert big biased website here). Gameplay was a little bit average but the story and music made everything worth it IMO. Can't complain for that price :D. I paid $15 for it and was more than happy with my purchase.
I also agree with what Peyj said above about Dead Space 2. Good fun!
Nier! \o/
Would probably not have even looked at it if not for your Chuloopa-esque advocation for this game.
Tex Murphy fans rejoice, the Kickstarter has ended and the project's a go! Those who don't know what Tex Murphy is need to make a detour to GOG.com. :P
(If you only play one, make it The Pandora Directive. :P http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/tex_murphy_the_pandora_directive)
Le Mans 24 hours is underway!
Audi 1st & 2nd ,Toyota currently 3rd overall, nearly two and a half hours in.
Also, RIP Gareth Roberts.
Rally car dude? RIP Gareth.
Morning everyone *sleepy*
Morning scree, going to follow Shane's lead and check out Game's 60% sale soonish.
Eh, range seems pretty depleted. Might just buy Mass Effect 3 for 360 at Big W. Finish off my console playthrough. :P
D= I wish I could do that. Might be able to pick up a few games I've been after for cheap. Pity there are none near me
All the GAME stores in my vicinity are closed :-(
There's one literally next to JB at my local Westfield with a EB games a few stores down. Seems like bad planning. Still open for now, though.
Still watching Le Mans... #48 Nissan looks like it's out of the race.
Audi still 1,2 and 3 with ten and a half hours to go.
#2 Audi pits, and is back out.
About to go to sleep here (gotta love inverted time), I hope it's not as freezing as it is here. 'cause it's really freezing.
Anyone preparing the soul for the impending Steam "Summer" Sale? (Let's call it Winter Sale for us.)
Added some moolah into my PayPal account and I'm holding off buying anything on Steam in case it drops in price :D
I've never experienced this fabled "Summer Sale" so we'll see what it's all about...
Six and a quarter hours to go, looks like a car has stopped at the exit of Mulsanne.
Audi still leads from first to fourth.
So Gametraders reduced the price of Pandora's tower. I'm a little peeved about it, but nothing I can really do.
They've also dropped the price of Siletn hill down pur from $70 to $40. I'm seriously considering getting it if I can afford it.
IMPORTTTTTTTTTTTT
Err why are you annoyed they dropped the price of something? =/
Because I layby'd it when it wasn't cheap D=
And that's why you don't layby games. Just put the money aside and buy the game when you've got time to play it, and/or when it's on special.
It was already on Special when I bought it. But it's was suddenly marked Clearance and considering they had none left anyway it wouldn't have really mattered
Just saw Prometheus. It was pretty good! I recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. Left alot of questions unanswered though.. Check out the trailer for Wreck it Ralph. A movie about video games!
My computer is nearly ready! \o/
All it needs is a DVD drive and a copy of windows 7, and then I'll be all set!
And it looks like Audi are unstoppable in the Le Mans 24 Hours.
It'll take a miracle in the final four hours for any other team to come close.
And now two of the Audis are in the pits, after suffering major damage.
OMG I actually finished a game. Grotesque tactics 2 - Dungeons and donuts
Was actually a decent game let down by the sheer number of bugs. Multiple times I had to save then reload the game just so that I could move a character. Annoyances like that aside it was an overall enjoyable experience.
Currently $25 for the 2 pack of 1 + 2 which is ok value, going into it know there will be bugs I would recommend people pick it up over the steam summer sales that are likely to be coming up soon.
The dialog it witty, the combat isn't overly challenging (select hardest difficult when give a choice) but you will die if you don't pay any attention (or occasionally due to cheap shots).
Story was strong enough to get me through, mostly just a piss take over the fantasy RPG genre
G'day TAY! How are we all? I've been disconnected for the best part of two weeks, which were filled with too much alcohol, a surprising amount of sociophobia/(social claustrophobia?) and bum-pinching grandmothers. Aside from that, nothing much :3
Can anyone fill me in on what I've missed?
Stuff! :D
If you're blue and you don't know where to go to, why don't you go where gaming staaaaaaays
Logging on to TAY!
