We didn't use Teamspeak last night, but we plan on using it next time. There's a Teamspeak server set up to use for TAY, but I'm not sure of the details (I'm sure someone can help me out here and let you know).

I have played a few hours of Dragon's Dogma and I am really enjoying it. It's certainly no SKYRIM!, but then what game could possibly compare to SKYRIM! :) but it does have its own quaint little charm.
Like the fact you can climb up a cyclop's back and start wailing on his single eye, while trying to hack of its tusks so you can use them to upgrade equipment.
FUN!
Plus I picked up Rage from GAME the other day for about $18. Very glad I didn't get it day one, but certainly can't complain for this price.
Also, I finally got to see Avengers! Went to Rouse Hill on the weekend to see it and it was sold out! WTF its been out for weeks yet it was still sold out. Ended up seeing it in Blacktown and the cinems was packed, couldn't believe it,
Awesome movie though so it was totally worth it.
So, when's the next group shenanigans on Xbox Live? I suggest Minecraft, though I am sure most people have that on PC and not Xbox... *sigh* still it is worth a try.

I just read a kotaku article about a Digimon game coming out soon (Re;Digitise?). Am I the only on who is looking forward to it? From what I could gather it's similar to the original "Pokemon World" game that was released on the PS1. Plus battling the original series characters with your own Digimon! AWESOME!

*I find that Digimon World hasn't aged very well. I tried replaying it a while ago and it never went anywhere. :P

It does seem like they are keeping some things close to the original game, for example they have: raising your digimon through all the stages (Baby,intraining,rookie,champion.Ultimate,Mega), your digimon CAN die if you don't take care of it and things like that. Also online battles!

I made a list, picked out a handful of games that I wanted to beat and then focused on them. Worked pretty well for me.
I think finishing 5 would be a realistic goal for me :P One of them has to be Bioshock. I just need to stop being a big wuss.

I was planning on some sort of public transport, but I'm not sure yet... Murrays Coaches does Wollongong - Canberra for $33, so if anything I'd be on that. (Otherwise I'd have to make a 2hr trip into Sydney, then the 4hr trip back the way I came to get to Canberra. xD)

For those that are interested, I had a bit of a play around with LotRO last night. Initial thoughts are that it's very much a standard MMO in terms of gameplay. I honestly can't say how long it'll keep people's interests, but hey, it's free!
Where lotro really shines is its story and the sheer amount of stuff they've got in the game (player housing, playable instruments etc). It really feels like an MMO that heavily supports roleplaying. I also love how old school it feels when compared to more modern MMOs.
I got about an hour of play last night. I made a female elf warden called Tavrien. I'm only level 3 so far.
I've made my Man Captain...for party stuff.
I'm probably going to create a second character (most likely Elven hunter or loremaster(?)) and push ahead to learn a few things.
Just to confirm, you're on the Elendilmir server, right? I was talking to Cakesmith the other night about how that seems to be the unofficial Oceanic server for the game.
Yeah, looked up that and figured it was the best choice. Klutar and Cakesmith are also on there.

Give it a whirl and let me know what you think. Just FYI, the main menu does NOT scale well with higher graphics. No issue once you log in, but prepare for ugly menus...
Also, if you hit ctrl and \ at the same time you can reposition some of the menus on your screen. Just hit ctrl and \ again once you're done to exit the menu edit.

If someone wrote a book or made a film about transforming furniture or other transforming utensils would that infringe on the Transformers copyright?
Is the transforming concept exclusive to Hasbro?
I'd put my educated guess at "no", but in terms of transforming stuff and using the word "transform" (or variations) would probably get unwanted attention.
I don't think so. The unwashed masses would probably view it as a cheap transformers knock off though.

Usually I like to watch something while eating and I've just finished getting through Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (friggen awesome!). I have my weekly shows which I download whenever they're out (Korra, Tosh.0, Adventure Time etc.) but I also like to have a 'main' show that I'll watch during the week in between releases.
I'm not really in the mood for anything too serious like a drama or anime but I'm up for some stupid sitcoms and cartoons. I've been recommended The League and Bob's Burgers so I'll acquire them but in the mean time, is there anything else worth watching?
As for my weekly shows Futurama starts on the 20th and Breaking Bad on July 15th, am I missing anything?

Bob's burgers is awesome.
For other animated series, you should check out:
1. Archer. If you haven't done so it's a great animated series.
2.The life and times of Tim on HBO is pretty good as well.
For good comedy series check out:
1. Episodes. It's the new Matt Le Blanc show. It's not a sitcom like friends or Joey, it's more cerebral and funny.
2.Girls on HBO is pretty good as well. The episodes are usually 30min long. It's more drama but it has its funny moments.
3.House of lies. A comedy series about con-men with Don Cheadle is really good as well.
Also check out LAID on the ABC. Season 2 just wrapped up last week so you have two seasons to catch up on. It's one of the most enjoyable Australian shows I've watched. I'm even tempted to say it's one of the few local shows I've enjoyed.
Hopefully, you enjoy some of these, they're pretty good.

I love Archer and something along those lines would be great. I had a look at all the shows you listed and none seem that interesting to me except for maybe The Life and Times of Tim (based on the imdb rating) but the animation style looks pretty horrid, but I shouldn't judge a book by its cover :)
The animation of the life and times of tim is terrible but I think it fits with all the problems he finds himself in.
I suggest you at least try the first episodes of the shows I've suggested, you might enjoy them.
It's a bad system but I looked them all up on imdb and they all had what I consider, fairly low ratings for a TV show (low 7's) except for Tim which had low 8's (what I consider reasonable).
I think I should be fine with The League, Bob's Burgers and Young Justice for now but thanks again tater masha! :D

Senhen-germanword-er are pretty good. I had a pair that cost $100 that lasted 2 years and they were the most comfortable headphones ever.
Otherwise Industrie sells headphones for $20. They're fairly decent, are comfortable and come in 4 different colours.

Things for Shameless Gaming Month are actually kind of shaping up already.
Been talking to Serrels and there are a few things in the works. I'm really excited about what he's going to be doing (no spoilers). Shiggy seems responsive to me dropping in on Potaku to talk about things as well. I'll be doing weekly blog posts to summarise things and there should be something else running on Kotaku that involves everyone.
Going to try and do one piece of video content as well. Haven't quite worked that out. Might need to sit down and look at the games that I'll be playing in July to pick something out. Possibly harass Dan for a little help because his editing skills are far superior to mine.

I've found that Mobile Kotaku refreshes fine though and it hasn't been crashing as often as it used to on full pages (lots of comments)
He sent me an email saying he'd managed to have the time to take a look at it this morning and made some changes.
So far as I know, the problem stems from if you leave the page, and in the same session, return to it by following a link on the main page, at least, that's the only times I've ever faced it. As such, it' probably there to help facilitate with future uses of the "minimise" option, but currently it's just a vestigial bit of code, that hinders far more than it helps.
Nope, I almost never do as you just described and I had the problem all the time.
I had a similar error to what people described once.
When that happened though, it reverted Kotaku back by about a half hour, so I saw posts disappear. This was before anyone had complained about it, so I just sat here, scared.
Other than that though, I have never had the problem in TAY.
I should clarify by adding that I've had the page not fully updating all the time on other parts of the site, when I did as described above.
