Let’s be honest: most people’s reaction to the upcoming Halo 4 Xbox 360 console was somewhere between “oh” and “oh God my eyes”.
Which may explain why some new pictures of the console have turned up on Halo’s official site looking, well, a lot better.
It’s all down to that transparent effect. Not really noticeable in the press shots, it looks much nicer in the real world, and the reflections from the lights make the graphics all over the case a little less messy.
I’m not saying it’s suddenly the greatest Xbox 360 console to have ever lived, but it’s at least now looking better than the green & mustard monster that was the Halo 3 edition.

It's the best Special Console I've seen so far, but at the end of the day I prefer the black one.
I'd like to see one in the... plastic before I make final judgement.

The Halo 3 console was the best one by far compared to the reach console, but i have to say the Halo 4 is really cool..

I used to love my clear case on my old xbox, had pretty blue neon lights inside... then it red ringed 3 months later =(
I keep my normal 360 in the cabinet instead of on top with the other consoles because I can't stand looking at its terrible design, this just takes it to a whole new level. This is like an Excel with a unpainted bodykit, plastic chrome fuel cap and neon lights
