Ascension is an excellent card-building game on iPad and iPhone. Well worth it. Takes a bit to get used to, but it has an active and passionate online community and the AI is good for offline play.
And Settlers of Catan is on a Gamescom sale as well, but it's only $1 off - $4.49 instead of $5.49.
I wonder if Carcassonne will go one sale for the first time ever, when the developers launch their new game, Lost Cities, next week?
