Yesterday’s ScribbleTaku has some of my favourite entries ever — someone even mentioned that I had a Naruto fetish! Incredibly, despite the fact it may have been my worst drawing ever, someone actually got it correct. So congrats Thistler – you were right. It was James ‘Buster’ Douglas Knockout Boxing — a terrible boxing game released on the Mega Drive.

Looks awfully like Phantasy Star 4, but it could be 3
If it's one of them, it's definitely Phantasy Star IV. III doesn't show characters at the bottom of the screen, and II only had four characters at a time.
Also, this is totally one of the forms of the final boss from IV (the last one, I think).

Never got into Phantasy Star. Tried more than once with the older games but it never grabbed me like it's contemporaries.
