You’ll never guess what guys — I’m totally going to play some more Dark Souls this weekend. I know, crazy right? But what will you girls and boys be playing?
I’m actually loving Dark Souls even more than before, if that’s possible. I was stuck in Blighttown for ages, because it’s balls out difficult. To break up the monotony I decided to head in another direction, a part I was struggling with before, and a combination of increased skill on my part, and some levelling up, I was able to breeze past a section I was stuck at for ages.
I just love this game.
Anyway, what are you guys playing this weekend?

Super Mario Galaxy 2!! I forgot how awesome it is! In fact before playing it I had forgotten what fun is! I feel like a little kid all over again playing this! So much in fact that going back to the PS3 afterwards to try & finish Ghost Recon felt like work!
So yeah i'll be gaming like a little kid with SMG 2, I suppose i'll finish the last 2 missions of Ghost Recon:FS, & some Blazblue on the Vita at work.
Yeah me too, just got 121 stars with luigi in SMG. Need to finish off SMG2 100%- Green stars here I come!
After that I really should 100% Sunshine- never got around to it...
Bought Alan Wake's American Nightmare. Finding it decidedly hollow. Also mid way through RAGE (hollow) and Skyrim still beckons (not hollow)...
Some more Combat Mission and finally getting acrack at Saints Row 3 which has been on my pile of shame since the Steam Sales.

Dark Souls. One boss standing between me and Anor Londo...
Borderlands. Finished the first dlc during the week and have started the underdome dlc. It's a horrible thing tbh. So boring and repetitive. So might move onto the 3rd dlc soon. Must finish all dlc before Borderlands 2!
The Underdome is really just a long, long grind. I got through it ok because I played it with my wife who was max level I was there to pull in the low level enemies while she pretty much did all the work. We basically played through all the DLC together to max out our achievements.
The other DLC is far, far better with the Secret Armory of General Knoxx being my personal favourite. There's some grindy collection achievements in Claptrap's Robolution, but if you don't really care about the achievements they shouldn't be too bad.
Well I've been paying too much attention to Minecraft lately, mainly because my wife has been rewatching all of Star Trek: The Next Generation (man those old DVDs look like shit when you're playing them on an HD TV), but this weekend I will probably reclaim the Xbox! I want to try and knock over Prototype 2, but I also went back to Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer last night and surprisingly didn't get all that frustrated by it - at least not as much as I did getting repeatedly sniped off spawn in Halo Reach on Wednesday night. For the most part I feel like other people are cheap jackholes, but it wasn't bad, so I might hop on a little over the weekend.
I also still need to finish Mirror's Edge and play my way through the Broken Sword trilogy.

I was going to play MGS4 since they added the trophy patch, but I think I might hold off on it and do a marathon of the numbered game versions, MGS1-2-3-4!
I haven't really been playing games much this past month or two, but I've gotten back into it lately after randomly turning the xbox on! I want to start on one of the many games I've bought in zavvi's 2 for £25 offer. I'll either be playing dungeon siege 3, or bayonetta.
PC games are out. I had to send my mouse and keyboard back for warranty and I hate using crappy mice!
This weekend, probably not much at all. But throughout next week I'll be finishing off the Dawnguard quests then either hacking away at the ridiculous amount of side quests I've accrued over my travels, OR start getting into Bastion.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 for me, then jumping into Borderlands on PS3 (I have the PC version but friends are doing BL2 on PS3) so I can get the extra content when 2 comes out. I know it's just skins and costumes, but hats!
That makes me sad there aren't Butt hats.
Gears of War 3 multiplayer - my new addiction
MGS2. I did 1 &3 the last few weeks and I am itching to get to 4 again. Only played 4 once but the emotion in the story and the many approaches game play....
Also thinking getting back into Diablo 3 but hmmmmm
