Pretty cool. I don't like breaking the flow of combat by entering a S-Pressen submenu, though.
Good pressen unlocks will be on-disk dlc that you have to pay for.
In all seriousness, the combat slow down, on hit, is very jarring and the moves don't flow very well... in this demo. Hopefully future demos will change my mind.
Seems cool. I'm actually looking forward to this now
Pressens, buttons... Ahahaha, I see what they did there. -_-' I'd like this idea more if you could choose which button you pressed at each point in the combo, having only 4 possible button sequences doesn't really offer much in the way of keeping things fresh.
Was looking forward to this game till this trailer... It looked like a Blade runner meets assassins creed, now its like tron meets arkham... :/ will have to keep an eye on it to see how it turns out, but as of now im not that interested.
The music on this is interesting, especially how it ties in with the action.
I like the idea of customising combos, but the figting doesn't feel hard hitting and visceral enough. Combat looks really generic with long boring combos. The pausing with the special ability window beaks the flow of the combat too much as well. bit dissappointed with this.
Was looking forward to this until I saw this video.
Constantly breaking the flow of combet to go into menus, and that framerate is horrific.
So you'l basically need to set up your 'pressens' during downtime in the game to avoid being taken out of combat constantly.
That's the idea though, you create builds of sorts.
Interesting combat system, reminiscent of the Batman Arkham series.
