See Kenshin Return To Action In This New Fighting Game

A couple of weeks ago, popular ’90s anime Rurouni Kenshin exploded onto the Japanese cinema scene with the series’ first live-action movie. However, that was not the only Kenshin-related item to get a release that week.

The sequel to last year’s Rurouni Kenshin Saisen, Rurouni Kenshin Kansei is a PSP fighting game with a roster of nearly all of Kenshin’s friends and rivals. Moreover, the game covers the entirety of Kenshin’s story — from his time as an assassin in Japan’s last civil war to the final story arc that was shown only in the manga and never in the anime.

Rurouni Kenshin Kansei was released on August 30, 2012, for the PlayStation Portable in Japan. Stay tuned for the import preview later this week.
