   Just asking, but is anyone with a 3ds still using the 3d in playing their games? I mean not just for 10 minutes for a movie sequence or looking at a model, but for 1 or 2 hours of gameplay.
   I’ve read some game reviews and heard that the 3d is just a distraction when you’re playing the game.

      Yes, depends on the game. Last 3DS game I was playing was Resident Evil: Revelations which actually has some really good 3D effects so I always kept it on while playing.

      The 3D in OoT wasn’t that great but I kept it on for an entire playthrough (turned it off for Master Quest). Tales of the Abyss was pretty standard/shocking so I pretty much had it turned off the whole time. There’s more examples if games that use it well and don’t but basically I’ll use it first, see how it is, and if it’s good I’ll keep it on.

         I always have it on while playing Kingdom Hearts and Mario Kart. In Zelda, it just got annoying and I rathered the traditional look anyway.

   I only use the 3d at night time, laying in bed- etc.
