Total Recall’s Blu-ray Comes Packaged With A God Of War: Ascension Demo

Back when I was a youngster game demos were delivered on Official Games Magazines and all we got for Christmas was an orange and a lump of coal. These days? Not only are game demos delivered virtually, or used as marketing tools alongside other games, they’re now being attached to Blu-ray releases.

This is the world we live in folks. The release of Total Recall (the new one, not the good one) is set to be packaged with a demo for God of War: Ascension, according to the PlayStation Blog (and they should know!)

It’s a single player demo, so you won’t be able to check out the new multiplayer section of the game — which I find quite intriguing as a concept — but you’ll still be able to get a feel for how Sony Santa Monica has evolved the series.

We’re still confirming with Sony locally to double check we’re actually receiving this deal in Australia. We’ll update once we hear back.
