Halo 4 Was Shaped, At Least In Part, By One Of The World’s Great Concept Artists

You’re in for a treat today. Today, we’re looking at a collection of Halo 4 art by Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier, aka one of the most talented concept artists in the world, regardless of the industry.

Sparth’s ability to convey not just the look of a sci-fi setting but its mood is legendary, so it was a boon for 343 that they were able to get him to help out on Halo 4.

Most of these images are enormous environmental scenes, and nearly every one succeeds in making you feel the place, and actually see the motion.

You can see more of Sparth’s art on his personal site, and you can purchase a book collecting some of his best stuff here.

Oh, and this Halo 4 stuff? It’s the tip of the iceberg as far as his contributions go. If you pick up the game’s big hardcover art book, it’s wall-to-wall with images like this.

To see the larger pics in all their glory (or, if they’re big enough, so you can save them as wallpaper), right-click on them below and select “open in new tab”.

Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios. If you’re in the business and have some concept, environment or character art you’d like to share, drop us a line!
