Watch Halo 4’s Promethean Weapons Assemble In Mesmerising Slow Motion

One of the coolest features of 343’s first Halo title that released today is the disassembling and reassembling Promethean weapons.

Not only are these weapons incredibly satisfying to shoot and kill with, but they’re also pretty to look at. Reloading will take the weapon apart momentarily, but the best disassembling/reassembling animations occur when you pick up one of these weapons for the very first time.

Oh, and for fun we included a Promethean itself, in that memorable moment where it exposes its skeletal shield to reveal its ghostly face before you give it a good punch in the nose.

The Suppressor.

The Boltshot.

The Lightrifle.
