These G.I. Joe Cosplayers Are Real Internet Heroes

As previously discussed, Square Enix counted down to Star Galaxy, a browser game.

Like most children of the 1980s, I grew up with G.I. Joe. And while I thought the Real American Hero troops were cool and all, Cobra was so much cooler.

Yes, yes, the outfits were originally fascist inspired, sure, but as the 1980s series progressed, Cobra got increasingly ridiculous. And by ridiculous, I mean wonderful. And the character designs have aged very well. No wonder that decades later people are still cosplaying as the iconic Cobra character.

The above gallery is mostly Cobra heavy, with some Joe team members like Snake Eyes thrown in for good measure. Have a look at some — but not all — of the best G.I. Joe cosplay the internet has to offer. Many of the photos are great as well.
