One Of The Most Impressive Nintendo Collections In Japan

By day, Tokyo resident Isao Yamazaki is a website developer. By night, he’s at home, perusing one of the most amazing Nintendo collections you can find in Japan or anywhere else.

Yamazaki fell in love with Nintendo early on. “I started collecting Nintendo items 30 years ago, in 1982,” he told website Before Mario. “My first Nintendo items were pencil erasers.”

Since then, Yamazaki has moved on from pencil erasers — well beyond. His collection now houses old Nintendo toys, hundred year old cards, classic games and consoles as well as autographs, such as a Famicom signed by its creator Masayuki Uemura. An expert on Nintendo history, Yamazaki also authored books on the company and curated an exhibition of retro Nintendo items.

Have a look at highlights from Yamazaki’s amazing collection. The man even has a baby stroller Nintendo once made! More in the link below.
