The Firemonkeys call it “Time-Shifted Multiplayer”. It sounds an awful lot like racing against ghosts, but the multiplayer aspect of the upcoming third iteration of mobile’s flagship racing franchise is just a little bit creepier than ghosts.
What Real Racing 3 will do is create an AI driver for everyone that plays the game. Real Racing 3 studies your racing habits, performs a dark incantation and presto — you are no longer necessary.
I can’t wait for this to come out so I can make my racer the most inept AI driver ever. On purpose, I mean.
