      Steam is fixed at $80 as opposed to $60, so we’re definitely getting that Australia tax
      (Though you can get it for $40 at GameLane).
      If it’s as easy as getting a yank friend to buy the season’s pass for you, then you could get the whole package for the price of the game in the US.

   On its own, it’s no worse than the umpteen other times we’ve seen this happen, but now? I’m just so damn sick of this shit. I loved Bioshock, but I’m done. I’m out. Fuck these people.
   My pile of shame is too big anyway.

      The game has no multiplayer.

      I’ll wait (game is pre-ordered and I’m happy about that). If it’s like Minerva’s Den, then I’ll grab it…if it’s challenge rooms and the like, I’ll pass.

   DLC and microtransactions are the bane of video games. I’ve never bought into it, and I never will. I wish developers would stop looking like ‘sucky-sucky five dolla hoes’ and ‘two bit street vendors’, trying desperately to squeeze another dollar from people.

   Its like a 20 ducket expansion pack so ok.

   Im more pissed about the exclusives. Is the game’s combat balance so shitty and unimportant that fucking with guns and inventory out of the box is no problem?

   Already have the Songbird Edition on pre-order. If it’s only guns or boosters, that’s fine. If it’s a whole mission, then bad 2K. Either way, this is still a day one buy.

    I love bioshock but I find myself just plain fed up with this business model. Probably wouldn’t pay more than $40 , including dlc. Quite fine with waiting until it hits that price point.
