Can Help You Pick A Graphics Card

The graphics card marketplace can be quite confusing to the new PC gamer. There are no standardised labels, cards with the same number designation vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and the internet is filled with people that swear their favourite piece of poly-processing hardware is the best. I've been buying cards for more than a decade, and I still get confused. That's why exists.

Featuring the same streamlined interface of its predecessor,, takes the most popular video cards of the past several years and sorts them by value, performance, gaming power and price. Select a pair of cards and compare, or just run down the list until you find one that's got the right balance of juice and price.

It's a very intuitive site, and while some of the data still needs to be filled in, it does a fine job of presenting the info it does have in an easy-to-understand format. It's like an infographic. Everybody likes infographics.

Great another website I can waste time trying to decide between a HD7970 Ghz Edition or a GTX670!?! Smarter me says "wait for the next gen of GPU's", impatient me says "blow that, get one now, you've had your GTX570 tooooooooooooooooooooo long"

Its kind of like Except AnandTech has more then just GPU

I do like the "feel" of GPUboss though.

Next you'll tell me I should replace my 8800GT (circa 2007)

Wait, so I should replace my Voodoo Rush?

nothing wrong with old graphics cards as long as you keep the screen resolution low I guess

Hah, yeah, and I just went and bought a 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor, yet I'm still running a 1Gb 6950.

after painstaking consideration ive replaced my gtx285 with a gtx680. could have gone 7970 but talked myself out of it.

Just replaced my GTX295 with a GTX670, looks like we're on the same update schedule :)

But can it tell me how much the 8970 I plan to buy at the end of the year will kick ass?

They wrote the url in the article... why not make it a hyperlink?
