You know what they say — the only winning move is not to play. Luigi takes that advice to heart: last year, we showed you a video of Luigi doing nothing in Mario Party 9 against computer opponents and winning. This time, OmegaTyrant4792 brings us footage of what happens when Luigi does nothing against level 9 AI in Super Smash Bros Melee.
Ridiculous, right? Every single character! Every single one! And if that’s not enough, here’s a 4-player match with 3 AI. Same thing happens. Luigi, you bastard.
In way, it makes sense: what can the AI react to if you do nothing? While I’m keen on testing this out myself, we’ve also got the Mario Party 9 footage that makes inaction seem like a plausible winning strategy against AI.
Mario may get the spotlight, but Luigi is clearly the clever brother.
