The New Xbox Live Is ‘More Powerful, More Personal’

The evolution of the Xbox online service got shown on stage today at Microsoft’s reveal event. Users will keep their current accounts but have access to a slew of upgraded functions, like a game-recording DVR and dynamic game achievements.

Exec Marc Whitten also promised bigger online matches and persistent worlds via server-side computations. No word on any next-gen troll-filtering measures though.
