The X-Wing Miniatures tabletop game, which I like very much, has a new line of tiny little spacecraft on the way. Joining the eight units already available (Xwing, A-Wing, Y-Wing, TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE Advanced, Slave One & the Falcon) are four new ships.
They are the B-Wing, Lambda-Class Shuttle, TIE Bomber and HWK-290. If the last one doesn’t ring any bells, it’s the ship first seen when it was used by Kyle Katarn in the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series.

The ship from Dark Forces was called The Mouldy Crow.
Yep. The Moldy Crow, model HWK-290.
Yeah, but just like with the Falcon & Slave 1 – the mini isn’t technically just the Moldy Crow, it’s a ship of that model/class. You get a bunch of cards with them, that have different pilots – some of which will give you the ability to spec it out as the Moldy Crow with Kyle, not sure if they’re going to fit Jan in there somehow like droids or Chewy etc with the other ships but the description does say they can be outfitted with a crew member.
Man i so seriously need to play this game.
The inclusing of B-Wings and Tie-Bombers make it a must.
I like the look of this game but it’s hella expensive.
As a warhammer and wargaming player in general, X-Wing is far from expensive. $100 gets you a good squadron to play with, including a starter set for dice, markers ect.
