Comparing A Game Coming Out On Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 And PS3

I couldn't care how fancy the lighting is on a driving game or shooter on the next-gen systems, but one thing I have been looking forward to seeing is how my favourite sports games look on the Xbox One and PS4. Here's FIFA 14, and at least in terms of appearance, it's everything I wanted.

Gone are the series' "cartoon thug" player models, replaced with characters that look - and look like they move - like the real thing.

To see how big a leap this is over the Xbox 360/PS3/PC version of the game, check out that edition's trailer below. The difference in animation is staggering.

yeah your right, the animations and movements are a hell of a lot smoother, bucket load more detail also.

Over PC??? I'm not so sure on that one, unless if the PC version was given less support that the PS4 and Xbox One.

Ignite isnt coming to the PC version either.

The PS4 and XBone versions are built in their new engine (that Ignite thing that they've got the logo in the bottom corner for). From what I understand, the PC one isn't, it's still on the old engine along with the PS3/360 versions. I think that's the story, anyway - if I've misunderstood it then I'm happy to be corrected.

Nice animation work, but the players all looked plastic to me.

I think i'd rather go out and kick a ball.
