Not that we expected anything else. I mean, this is Thief. It’s hardly going to be about unicorns and puppies. But even by Thief’s standards, this artwork is grim.
I’m not sure on who the artists responsible for this are, as like most corporate concept piece dumps prior to a game’s release no credit is given by the publisher, but we can assume at least some of it is by Nicolas Ferrand, since we got to see some of his Thief work earlier in the year.
Fine Art is a celebration of the work of video game artists, showcasing the best of both their professional and personal portfolios.

Wow love it – lets just hope that the game manages to get completed
These shots are absolutely gorgeous. Thief is thief and these images are exactly what the games’ gritty world is all about. If you haven’t seen the E3 play trailer yet, do so. I was really concerned the new developers wouldn’t live up to what Thief means, but my fears have been put to rest. This game looks stunning and for any Thief fan, a day one buy.
Love it, Love it, LOVE IT!
looks great!
