The Xbox 360 has a new “smaller sleeker and quieter than ever” console design, available as of today, said Microsoft. Specific features, such as hard drive size, were not mentioned. The design appears to mimic that of the Xbox One, coming later this year.

You gotta be friggen kidding me.
exact same words i said when i saw this
Did we really need this?
No. But did we need a dozen different PS3 versions? (OK, what was it, four, five different models?)
3 of them, and they should have stopped with the second.
Wait, wait, wait. I thought each version used newer and cheapr parts thus dropping the prices?
Isn’t that what’s really happening? ANd then they throw on a new case for marketing purposes, no?
I was thinking more along the lines of the timeframe. New models of the same consoles are inevitable at some point, but so close to release of the xbone? Other than what jimu said about parts pricing, I don’t see the point
I… actually wanted this. This is one of the things I’m most happy about from the conference. Time to trade in this gaudy Gears of War 360.
Finally now I can maybe update my original 360. Will all depend on the HDD size
Woo tiny VCR
