This year, E3 had so many games. So many. But watching demos and reading impressions is one thing; we want to play these games. Sadly, a lot of them won’t be coming out just yet.
Lots of E3 games will land this year, no doubt. In fact, one of them is already here — Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us launched last Friday, right at the end of E3 week. Some, like Pikmin 3, will arrive this summer. Others, like the new Assassin’s Creed, will come out close to the launch of the new consoles this fall. In a way, it’s good that a sizable chunk of games aren’t coming until 2014; there’s simply too many games, and spacing them out a bit certainly doesn’t hurt.
With that in mind, let’s have a look at which games have been announced for what’s left of this year.

Goddamn, the rest of this year is gonna make my wallet hurt.
Weird I think you missed a couple of small titles….
2014: Halo Xbox One
2013: Halo Spartan Assault
No, it’s there. Under “when it’s done titles”
Halo Sequel.
They announced it was 2014 and a Microsoft spokesperson recently referred to it as Halo 5
There are two titles right now and both have dates, not when it’s done at all. Halo Xbox One (working title) is 2014 and Spartan Assault us July 2013. It’s not very difficult and I just found these to be glaring omissions in the article.
Good point.
Oh, I’m sure a lot of people will be missing them 😉
How’s your online connections, getting any better mate?
Yeah, I replaced the modem so it doesn’t drop out anymore. What’s weird is you knowing that considering I haven’t told you, or anyone online about that problem I was having.
I was just speaking about your local search filtering from Halo Waypoint mate. LOL, I had no idea you were having other issues. I hope that gets you some better online multiplayer dude.
I’ll be grabbing around forty from that list and my wallet will be crying all the way.
NBA2K14 is missing…
MAYBE
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Arma3
Battlefield 4
Call of Duty: Ghosts

Ryse: Son of Rome
Scribblenauts Unmasked
Sonic Lost World
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dying Light
Mad Max
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Titanfall
Fez II
Halo Sequel
Rise of the Triad
Star Wars: Battlefront
Sunset Overdrive
The Order: 1886
YES
Batman: Arkham Origins
Beyond: Two Souls
Deus Ex: The Fall
DuckTales: Remastered
Killer is Dead
Saints Row IV
The Witness
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Watch Dogs
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Destiny
Quantum Break
Thief
Tom Clancy’s The Division
DayZ Standalone
Minecraft: Xbox One Edition
YES (but later because I’m not buying a PS4 at launch)
inFamous: Second Son
It’s going to be a busy couple of years.
I’m doubting Arkham Origins. Personally, I consider City as the best.
DriveClub’s free for PSN, So Ill be picking up Knack,KZ Shadow Fall and Watch Dogs. Only if the PS4 releases in Australia on launch.
If I had to buy just one.
“South Park Stick of Truth” from what Ive seen.
I saw an IGN interview with Matt and Trey. If they are to be believed, then they’re basically spending all their own non-TV time working on it, in a similar fashion to how they’ve worked on movies and musicals in recent years. That’s definitely a promising sign!
Just 19 titles that interest me for the remainder of the year. That should keep me busy.
Curiously, most of these games are on the Wii U, a system that is supposedly dead-in-the-water.
With enough resources, I could easy account for more 25 titles for the remainder of the year…
As it stands, probably won’t reach double figures.
Watch Dogs, Rise of the Triad and Wolfenstein: New Order are definite buys for me with Saints Row IV hovering around the maybe pile.
Games that weren’t shown at E3 are Shadow Warrior, Carmageddon: Reincarnation if its released this year and the game that’s on everyones list GTA V, it should tide me over until Watch Dogs releases in November.
Looks like I can hold off till 2014 for that PS4, Destiny, Infamous, The Division are the main ones I’ll be about. Then I can (mhopefully) pick up Watch Dogs, Killzone, Lost Planet 3 at a cheaper price.
oh and pay rent and buy food in there somewhere as well.
Yeah, doesn’t look like I’ll get a PS4 until FFXV and KHIII comes out.
Until then, I’m more than happy to settle in with a Wii U playing Wind Waker, Xenoblade 2 (?) and MK8 🙂
God damn. That is the stuff that makes wallets cry.
I only want 4 games between now and the end of year,
Splinter Cell
GTA
Watch Dogs
MGSV (hopefully will have a date soon)
Puppeteer and Dragons Crown for me.
Potential “when it’s done title” you may have missed: Deep Down (working title). 😮
Where’s the Last Guardian in the “When it’s Done” list?
C’mon guys! If you build it, we will come! …Erm… I mean… Just believe… It’s… Ah… Still being developed….
I thought The Order was a “Launch window” title?
During an interview with one of the developers he said things like “Hopefully you’ll get a lot more information about the game soon” and then said “I’m sure you will get a release date very soon”
The way he said it made it seem like they were waiting for some big reveal. Maybe TGS? To show off the game properly and a release date.
Good bye outside world, it was fun while it lasted.
