We heard a few months back that the 1993 platformer Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame, sequel to the very first PoP game from ’89, would get a mobile remake. That remake is out now.
Apart from getting a massive visual upgrade (graphics technology-wise, at least), the now fully-3D Shadow and the Flame sports a new combat system with unlockable combos and weapon pickups, while still maintaining the original storyline of the 1993 game. It may not feel like the original, but it still might be worth a look if you’re a Prince of Persia fan.
