I really don’t know if there’s a market for this but it’s cool nonetheless. Createrria is like the LittleBigPlanet of mobile games, it allows you to create, share and play games in seconds. It looks pretty impressive.
According to its creator you can build platformers or Angry Birds clones, and also mix the two. It doesn’t seem to have the flexibility of LittleBigPlanet’s toolset, but it sure looks as though it would be fun to fiddle around with. Also: it’s free.
Createrria gets a worldwide release in September but people in Australia (that’s us!) can download and mess around with an early version of the game right now. It looks like we might be the testing ground for the game’s Freemium economy — free-to-play inevitably means there’ll be things you can buy in-game.
I’m genuinely curious. It seems like a nicely made, smooth set of accessible tools.
