The original Chestburster from Alien lacked arms. They were added by propmasters in the sequel, which surprised special effects artist Stephen Norrington, who narrates this video about the creation of the little bastard. “I’m amazed at how much emotion comes out of those little arms,” he says.

Is there meant to be a video there ? or what is the name of this said video ?
Video?
Where’s the video?
Did you accidentally the link?
The whole thing!
I had this really sarcastic review for this pathetic article, but then it turns out it’s not entirely Owen’s fault. See, on the US Gawker network, they have this system where authors can “reblog” (I suppose) other authors’ articles from other sites (like for example Lifehacker from Kotaku, or Kokatu for io9, as is the case this instance). I suspect this is a scheme for Americans to do as little as possible while essentially getting paid for the work other people have done. Nonetheless, while this “reblogging” system works fine on the US site, in the AU site the “reblogged” article doesn’t show up in the “reblogging” article. Which is this one.
So, here it is, the article this “article” is referring to, “article” and video inclusive: http://io9.com/even-without-skin-the-chestburster-mechanism-test-is-n-1269321296
BTW, it’s a pretty cool video. Watch it fullscreen at 720p!
If they are going to continue this practice, then they need to fix this so it works across all sites. Otherwise the options are to either a) Stop this “reblogging” thing entirely , or b) Stop posting US articles on the Australian site.
