After years of fan-made efforts, Nintendo finally went and released its own Pokedex app for iOS. It works, but it’s kinda gross, and nowhere near as pretty as this gorgeous design by Jake Moore, which brings Pokemon into the iOS7 era.
One day, Nintendo might put as much effort into stuff like this (and its console menus). One day. Until then, dream Jake’s designs are the real deal.

wtb Android version, ’cause this is awesome!
look for “pokedroid” it was pulled from the market, but can still be found, very good pokedex app.
No where near as nice or informative as the now pulled due to copyright “pokedroid” on the android platform.
i imagine nintendo/gamefreak will pull this too.
Clearly focusing on design and not accurate information, Ivysaur evolves into Venusaur at lvl 32.
I dont get it, the ios one looks fantastic. Its ridicously overpriced, but the whole 3D model thing looks a lot better than this.
This isn’t a real app, just a design.
I was actually wondering if there was an official app. Since this article didn’t link to it…
