Tuesday night I went to interview dedicated fans of Grand Theft Auto about the series they love enough to stay up all night for. Like most fans they were jovial, amiable and more complicated than I would ever assume. In the video above, they told me why they love the series so.
In the middle of interviewing people, a car collided with a motorcycle in the centre of Union Square, New York. It was one of those jarring moments you have in life — something so sudden and senseless in the midst of an otherwise joyful celebration, a haunting reminder of the realities of the world.
I guess that’s just how life works sometimes.
