It’s October, which means it’s already time for Americans to start thinking about how much money they will throw around for the annual holiday Buy Things extravaganza. And, thanks to an early leak, we already know what GameStop has to offer.
GottaDeal.com has the full list, which is 12 pages long and slightly underwhelming. Some of the highlights: $US30 Battlefield 4, $US40 pre-owned Wiis, $US40 Assassin’s Creed IV.
Worth noting: the deal pages mention Watch Dogs and DriveClub, both delayed to next year, so these are obviously subject to change.
Here are a few excerpts from GameStop’s 2013 Black Friday catalogue:

I was wandering through JB HiFi on Thursday night and they’ve got some pretty great console deals on right now… 250gb Xbox 360 w/ Injustice, Arkham City GOTY, Tomb Raider DL code and Halo 4 – $299. 500GB PS3 w/ The Last Of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, NBA2K14 for $399, Obviously includes Australia tax, but if I didn’t already have a 360 I’d be mighty tempted at that price.
EB has a PS3 deal for the same price, too. It has GTA instead of NBA but doesn’t come with an HDMI.
That’s pretty rad too!
Where are the Next Gen discounts????
why would they discount something that’s gonna sell out regardless?
Ozgameshop.com.au has some good deals on games for next gen, they have free delivery too
Given the PS4’s region free, there’s no reason to pick up EU versions from Ozgameshop when Play Asia has the US versions for $60 USD ($63 AUD) with free shipping too.
Agreed, play Asia is best value….and both next gens are region free.
Is the store region free though? As often US games couldn’t get expansions packs from the Aussie store while European generally could.
Im not sure, i have left for dead2 jap version and i got all the expansions through the Australian Live market place
except we’re probably not going to see these deals here in Australia, though there should be a reasonable EB sale before Christmas, however when it comes to black friday access for us here in Australia there’s the steam sale, which is probably going to rape my wallet like it normally does.
Don’t you just love seeing deals we can’t access? I know I do!
I know! What a tease… >:-(
Whats the point in this article? means nothing to us
It looks like they didn’t get the memo about Watch Dogs.
Battlefield 4 for 29 buks!!!! WTF I totally buy that. if they stopped making the game long and boring.
They need to Frankenstein COD with it. they need the speed of COD, but the bullet simulation of BF series. they also need vehicles and map size. but the rest is COD!! would be the game of the century if they actually got together and did this
