That’s some fine BioShock cosplay they’ve got going on there, both Elizabeth and…Booker’s Hand.
Also of note this week: Star Wars cosplay! There really isn’t enough of it, considering the scale of the property. Nice to see it here, and also nice seeing someone that you can’t really play the Imperial March for.

Fancy Pants is Kotaku’s weekly round-up of the best in video game cosplay (costume play), where fans dress up as their favourite characters.

That Gatchaman one is pretty awesome.
yeah, though looks more like a painting than actual cosplay
Cosplaying as screenshots is actually a pretty cool premise I think.
Not sure about all that retouching business, particularly on the Battle of the Planets and Bioshock shots. Seems to kind of defeat the purpose of cosplaying in the first place. The Battle of the Planets one might as well be entirely painted in Photoshop.
Indeed, these days with a lot of ‘cosplay’ there seems to be more photoshopping going on than actual ‘cosplaying’ with a lot of them…
I am disappointed at the incorrect title. They are re-creating a screenshot with cosplay, not, you know, dressing up as a screenshot. I guess I will have to continue to wait for a day when someone takes cosplay to a whole new meta level.
I don’t know… this didn’t turn out so great:

as a digital artist and photographer, i somewhat appreciate the look of the bioshock one
lol, I like the ‘somewhat’ qualifier. you don’t need to be embarassed.
