This week’s South Park is Minecraft-themed, and if you can’t wait to see Trey Parker’s twisted take on the blocky indie sensation, you’re not alone.
South Park has taken on video games before — most notably with a Blizzard-supported World of Warcraft episode called “Make Love, Not Warcraft” — and the results are always spectacular. Their own video game, South Park: The Stick of Truth, will be out on December 10 for PC, 360, and PS3.
Here’s this week’s episode’s press release:
MINECRAFT IS THE KEY TO UNLOCKING THE SECRET TO A HEALTHY MARRIAGE

Yay South Park is back.
I hope this is as clever as the WoW and Tron episodes.
Kotaku needs a follow up article regarding this episode. It wasn’t purely about Minecraft. It was a social commentary about banning video games with all the violence that’s been happening in the US lately. It was very cleverly done!
“Just because they watch Murder Porn doesn’t mean they will go and kill people in real life. They can separate fiction from reality”
Or something to that effect was stated in it.
It was awesome and basically all the arguments that people have posted on here regarding the whole “Video games made them do it” excuses we keep hearing from the US Media was thrown in this episode for the absurdity that they are.
