Bugs in video games are usually annoying — sometimes they are funny. But bugs are rarely a spiritual, insane, hilarious experience all wrapped up into one beautiful 60 second experience.

Ok, seriously. Am I the only one here who would have jumped in there before the ship came up?
I had an even better variation of this exact same bug yesterday – my ship came up at a 45 degree angle and slowly shallowed out as it rose.
I get that too, mainly when fast traveling to Great Inagua/Hideout viewpoint (Just without the floating crew).
I thought it was a deliberate Animus loading/glitch but it doesn’t seem consistent anywhere else. I would prefer it this way though, much cooler having the Jackdaw appear Flying Dutchman style.
Pretty sure that’s what I did to cause it to happen too. I hope they don’t fix it, it’s way too awesome.
Brilliant! I wonder if it’s done on purpose, as it is exactly like Macau’s House of Dancing Water Show

Thumbs up!
That was the Rapture followed by the flying dutchman, the both sorta work hand in hand in a weird spiritual sort of way.
Has anyone else seen the dolphins swimming up the beach and into towns yet? That’s scary.
Hah, awesome. I’ve had some pretty special on boat fast travel bugs as well, one time I loaded into the new area and the Jackdaw was doing a forward roll in the water (half the crew fell off and drowned). The other one I spawned about 2km into the air above the dock and plummeted to my death.

I think somebody might have to rework their sentence.
