   I’m a little annoyed that’s it’s exclusive, but I was getting the PS3 version anyway, so at least I won’t be missing out. Still, it sucks that 360 and Xbox One players miss out on this stuff. Really de-values those system’s versions in my opinion.

      It’s not that bad. MGS 1 was never on Xbox and it doesn’t sound like it will add anything really to the story. Also we have youtube and plenty of other video sites for people to upload and watch the mission.

         I remember when people used to scream about Microsoft tying up exclusive content deals – now you can’t go two weeks without some other Sony Exclusive DLC being announced.

            Yeah, that’s pretty much how things are now. However you have to realise that Microsoft started it with the dreadful “Only on Xbox” era where hundreds of thousands was spent purely to damage their competitors by swallowing up IP’s. Sony is only procuring a little bit of extra fluff for it’s customers, not trying to stop the games from reaching other platforms.

            (And lets face it, timed exclusives and extra DLC don’t really mean much in the long run. Xbox Assassins Creed fans really didn’t miss out on anything with the extra DLC that PS3 users got. In five years the next gen upgrade rehashes of these games will give you all this junk anyway)

         That’s true, but I personally feel like even small differences are enough to get the other version should the system be available to you. It’s like, if a game advertises “30 minutes more content” on one system, so long as I have both, I’d most likely get that one since I always feel like I’m missing out on more, even inconsequential things. At least it’s not pre-order exclusive, I suppose.

      Hideo Kojima is a huge film buff. MGS is heavily influenced by many films including Escape from LA/NY
