You know mobile game Temple Run? Dude runs in a straight line forever, jumping over stuff, sometimes moving sideways. That, people, is enough to get a game a major Hollywood movie deal.
Well, that and millions of dollars in sales.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gravity producer David Heyman – who also produced all the Harry Potter movies – is in negotiations to get Temple Run on the big screen, with a story that would “center oncenter on an explorer who, having stolen an idol from a temple, is chased by demonic forces. by demonic forces.”
I feel like I’ve seen a movie about “an explorer who, having stolen an idol from a temple, is chased” before.
I would also like to have it on record that if the entire movie was shot while the lead was running, with a camera strapped to his back, that would be awesome.
Oh, and a final reminder: most projects like this never actually get made.

Right here….
Really… I endorse watching this…
Take basically any of the Indiana Jones movies and using some creative editing cut the bad guys out and replace them with a boulder or “demonic forces” and boom….Temple Run movie already made for them.
