Reader Andy thought he was performing a pretty typical search on his Xbox One. It’s the holiday season, so he wanted to see what came up for “Christmas music”. He did not get what he was expecting.
I’m picturing a very happy family, all gathered around the tree, some Bing Cosby playing softly in the background. Father says merrily “Xbox, search Christmas music”.
The results appear. A glass of eggnog crashes to the floor. A small child weeps.

Whoa. That is not what I was expecting.
Grinch box one
I’m so disappointed that this didn’t work when I tried it…
Well at least it didn’t say “Anal Probe” Ringtones.. According to those that knoweth best, that would of been really wrong /sarc
That would take all the tone out of your ring
Holy shit that is incredible.
So, what the article fails to say is that in order to view this kind of content, you must first disable the filter in the settings, which is auto-enabled for these specific reasons. Searchings for hits? Yep.
I’m more offended by the fact the results brought up ring tones. Eww.
They don’t always catch things straight up. I remember the first time I saw the uncensored blurred lines clip was in the PG Xbox music. Unfortunately when they caught it and removed the boobs, they also removed every swear or rude word. Censored music totally ruins all songs.
Yeah, it’s pretty hideous. Christmas ringtones. I hope they get coal this year.
It’s Bing. You didn’t really expect relevant search results, did you?
