The Top Mods Of 2013, As Chosen By PC Gamers

Last year, it was Black Mesa. Which mod did the community choose as their favourite this year? Let’s find out.

If you recognise the game at the top, you probably know the answer already: yep, the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod managed to wow just about everyone with its reckless, chaotic, and hilarious gameplay, snagging ModDB’s Mod of the Year award even though it was only released to the general public barely over a week ago.

A total of 141,000 votes were counted; runners-up include mods such as Brutal Doom at number four and the Project Brazil total conversion for Fallout: New Vegas at number nine. Watch the clip above (or take a look at the contest page) for the rest.

At the same time, the results for IndieDB’s Indie Game of the Year voting have also been revealed, with Starbound emerging as the ultimate victor.
