FaceRig is a piece of software that will use your webcam to track your face (and facial movements) then transform it into something a little (or a lot) less human.
Its makers say it’ll work across popular platforms like Skype and Twitch, while you’ll also be able to use the program to make animated clips.
It’s still in development, but you can back it over on Indiegogo; $US5 will get you a copy so you can mess around with the beta.

Furries are going to be all over this.
I can’t think of any other purpose this could have 😉
Telecon-fur-encing?
I give it a month or so before it’s used for some kind of animation porn.
Knowing the internet I’d give it less than a day.
I give it less than 5 minutes
I’d give it less than one minute
What a cute lesser panda.
The Red Panda is no less of a panda than the other one! Everyone is so cruel!
Isn’t SOE already using this for their MMO game?
Get a gaming headset, built a little camera next to the microphone.
Then use this software or something simalar to motion capture the persons face. Similar to how they motion capture acting for stuff like avatar. So that in game when you talk, your character has your expressions and mouth movement.
Hmm I think It would be cool to play around with the expressions, maybe be like a dragon or something…. But other than that the only reason I could see myself using it is as like a webcam thing during lets plays or something.
