Virtual idol Hatsune Miku might not be real, but her popularity sure is. In Japan, the character, who stars in own line of Sega music games, now also has her own store.
Called “Miku Wing Shop”, the store will be opened for a limited time only at Haneda Airport in Tokyo. The name “Wing Shop” is actually a pun. In Japanese, Haneda is “羽田”, with the character “hane” (羽) meaning “wing”, You know, aeroplanes and all.
The show has an array of goods, from travel pillows and carry cases to fans and blankets. Have a look:
The Miku shop, reports IT Media, will end its flight on March 31. Its memory will live on!

Wow
i have no words to explain this.
Darn, I’m going in November and I’ll miss this. Looks kinda small though, so I’m not too worried.
Somewhere to go next I’m in Japan 😉
Only if your going there within the next month or so.
It’s only a limited time shop in the airport. Article says it will go come March 31
Expecting me to read the articles now? :p
Ouch, some of those prices D:
It is at an airport after all
Hey gues what. It’s YEN. 1000 Yen is basically a dollar
100 Yen ~ $1, that suitcase is $210 and that’s kinda ouch.
MIKU DOES NOT HAVE A CHAINSAW LIKE IN HALFSIES 50/50. When I go there, I’ll add chainsaws to EVERY ONE of the dolls and the statue of Miku. Halfsies 50/50 is the best Miku song EVER. You HAVE to agree or else Miku will go halfsies on you.
There was a stack of nice Figma figs there…
What the hell possessed people to take a photo of the Rika-Chan dolls instead?! @_@
Oh wow, I could really go for the suitcase and a t-shirt!
