The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the favourite of many, and a classic like this deserves maps with similar qualities. Peardian, a veteran user of VGMaps, decided to map the whole game in an amazing-looking isometric view. Oh, and spoilers ahead for those who haven’t played the game yet.
According to VGMaps, he had to render the maps twice, both from top and side view, and it took him two years to fully map the whole thing.
Here are a few examples. The last one for Kakariko Village is my favourite, and the Water Temple looks like an entry level dungeon. But these are all superb, and great for a walkthrough.

Water Temple is pretty straight forward, you just have to ‘think’ as you play it.
Yeah I never found the water dungeon to be particularly difficult. It’s just the swapping of the iron boots that makes it a tad annoying more than anything else.
It could also be a pain if you forgot that one key at the bottom of the first water changing room but other then that it definitely wasn’t as difficult as people made it out to have been.
I am pretty sure that’s the reason for the level’s notoriety. Once you remember that, it becomes a piece of cake every time.
Yeah I agree, I don’t remember having much trouble in OoT’s Water Temple. The Water Temple in Twilight Princess was much harder.
Yeah, it’s not a hard dungeon at all. It’s just an annoying and slow one a lot of the time because of the need to take the boots on and off repeatedly.
Yeah. It’s just a slow one that really gets frustrating when you make a mistake.
When you are 10 years old, it is kidna hard….
Did anyone else take a short detour after getting the longshot so you could use Big Goron’s sword on the boss? 😀
As long as you don’t forget about that key at the bottom of that centre room, it’s not that bad.
There was nothing hard about it tbh, If anything it was one of my favourite dungeons. It’s just… kind of annoying if you miss or forget something and have to change the water levels over and over again trying to find that last missing key… >.>
It’s the Forest Temple key that gets me! Which key have I forgotten? I struggled when I was 10 and fifteen years later it’s still kicking my ass Lol does anyone know the key I’m talking about?!
As long as it’s not that first one on top of the trees just at the entrance, then no, I can’t find it either.
I found the Shadow Temple to be the hardest. Only if Bongo killed you, you had to go across the whole map again. Unlike most dungeons they had the boss door almost at the start of the map.
There is a shortcut you can take. In the room with the invisible spinning blades, you can drop down into the cage at the start of the boat ride. You have to have reached it the long way first and moved a block out of the way.
The water temple wasn’t hard, but finding the room under the central elevator took me forever to find 😛
