Flappy Bird has come out of nowhere to be one of the biggest mobile gaming hits of our age. That kind of instant success is normally cause for celebration, but when you consider all the attention he’s suddenly getting, spare a thought for the game’s developer, Dong Nguyen.
He’s taken to Twitter today to say “Please give me peace”.
Press people are overrating the success of my games. It is something I never want. Please give me peace.

He’s also avoiding press contact, and stopped doing interviews.
Maybe he’s busy counting all that money…

What’s Flappy Bird?
Basically this
http://www.helicoptergame.net/
I guess he wants to be left alone before Nintendo find him.
It’s a free app with no in game purchases. How much could he make?
A lot of ads pop up when you play it. I’m assuming that’s where all the money will come from.
$50,000 a day.
I saw someone play it once. Apparently it’s ridiculously hard.
Its really hard but addictive and somehow has caught on considering its apparenly been out since 2012 or 2013 and might have been just a simple project. Imagine it there if it was 0.99, certainly would be not complaining. Althought might be getting some money from the ads.
If he wants peace then he shouldn’t be publishing videogames
High score of 90… It’s more frustrating than it is hard.
So… How long until King either:
A) Steals the game
B) Sues him and copyrights the word ‘Bird’
???
He probably knows that the success is based off MEME and internet culture rather than the game itself. Probably hates the media for misinterpreting the success.
